Extract:
The use of water is PROHIBITED in the following cases:
- Sweeping of streets, pavements, façades or any other surface, both public and private, unless it is carried out with non-potable water.
- Irrigation of gardens, orchards, parks or green areas, both public and private.
- Car washing outside authorised establishments.
- Ornamental fountains without closed water circuits, showers and public fountains.
- Use of water resources from beach showers and footbaths.
- Any other non-essential use.
The following uses are EXCEPTED for the period 1/06/2024 to 30/09/2024:
- Swimming pools: partial refilling of public and private swimming pools with a water recirculation system, in the quantities necessary to replace evaporation losses, filter cleaning and to guarantee the sanitary quality of the water.
– First filling of newly built public and private swimming pools or filling in response to pool refurbishment work or modification of the pool shell.
– In educational establishments, the complete or partial filling of removable swimming pools with a capacity of less than 500 litres intended for children’s bathing. - Drinking fountains. Commissioning of drinking fountains with automatic opening and closing valves.
- Implementation of showers in sports facilities and swimming pools where the use of showers is compulsory for their use, as well as the use of specific beach showers for people with reduced mobility.
